A Commitment to Community That Builds Champions - Desmond L
As a Carter Subaru employee and a parent of a child who plays on Seatown FC, I've been fortunate to see the Subaru Love Promise come to life in a very personal way. Because of Carter Subaru's sponsorship and commitment to our community, youth programs like Seatown FC are able to exist, grow, and thrive, giving kids the opportunity to participate in experiences that truly shape their lives. This season was especially meaningful as Seatown FC celebrated becoming the Arena Sports 2025 Winter Season 1 Champions! While the championship win was an incredible achievement, what mattered most was everything that led up to that moment. Throughout the season, these kids learned the values that sports teach best: teamwork, hard work, dedication, and discipline. Those lessons extend far beyond the field and will stay with them for years to come. Seatown FC, along with the families and players involved, is incredibly thankful for Carter Subaru and their continued support. It's because of partners like Carter Subaru that our youth are able to participate in activities like this. These activities that build confidence, create lifelong friendships, and foster a sense of belonging. Watching my child grow through this experience has been incredibly emotional and rewarding. Seeing their excitement, pride, and determination reminded me that the impact of programs like this is truly incomparable. This is exactly why I have been proud to be a Carter Subaru employee for over 10 years. Community is at the forefront of everything we do, and Carter Subaru consistently shows up to support the people and programs that matter most. Helping local youth succeed, on and off the field, is what the Subaru Love Promise is all about, and I'm honored to be part of a company that lives that promise every day.
Holiday Magic Made Possible by Carter Subaru - Kim G
During the holiday season, our friends at Carter Subaru once again stepped up to support local children in need, where 43% of families fall below the national poverty level. This year, the need was especially great, with 820 students identified under McKinney-Vento, including 132 unaccompanied minors navigating school without stable housing. The district is beautifully diverse as well, with 134 languages spoken, a reminder that every childs story and every childs needs are unique. Carter Subarus team volunteered with us to help fill Holiday Wishlist Bags for these students across our community. Each child shared a personal wishlist: items they needed, items they hoped for, and items that would brighten their holiday. Angel Tree tags were distributed throughout the community, and generous donors purchased the items listed by the children. With Carter Subarus helping hands, we were able to sort, organize, and fill 784 holiday bags this year! Each bag was packed with warm clothes, games, crafts, STEM activities, toys, and more. Their support directly impacted students across many of our local schools, ensuring they felt seen, valued, and cared for during the holidays. This effort is a huge undertaking every year, and we truly couldnt have accomplished it without Carter Subarus support. Their dedication to our mission, and to the well-being of children in our community, is unwavering. We can always count on Carter Subaru to make a positive difference. Thats the Subaru Love Promise in action, and Carter Subaru continues to be a shining example of it.
A Lasting Paw Print: Honoring Ruth Dalton - Ruth D
At Carter Subaru, our customers aren't just clients, they're family. Ruth Dalton was a beloved member of our Carter Subaru family for over 20 years. Ruth was the perfect example of a Subaru Love Promise customer: loyal, compassionate, community-minded, and full of love for pets. Ruths connection to Carter Subaru ran deep. She purchased nine Subarus from our Shoreline location, relying on them to safely transport countless dogs she cared for as a dedicated local dog walker. She built lasting friendships with our team, especially with Benny and his staff, who she trusted like family. Beyond her loyalty as a customer, Ruth even walked Mary Carters dog, making her a true part of the Carter Family for decades. Her love for animals was undeniable and reflected perfectly in Subaru Loves Pets. Ruth adored the ASPCA, an organization that held a special place in her heart, just as it does for Subaru and for all of us at Carter Subaru. She lived out the values of compassion and care every day, leaving a lasting impact on her community and everyone she met. In August 2024, Ruths life was tragically cut short after she was carjacked while out doing what he loved, walking dogs. Her passing made national headlines, but for us, it was deeply personal. Ruth left behind more than memories-- she left a lasting paw print on our hearts and the hearts of everyone in our community who loved and adored her. On the one-year anniversary of her passing, our own Benny attended the unveiling of the Ruth Dalton Memorial Plaque, a touching tribute to her life, her love of dogs, and her bond with our community. To honor her memory, Carter Subaru donated $750 to the ASPCA in Ruths name, celebrating her lifelong dedication to animals and her generous spirit. Ruth once shared these heartfelt words about her Carter Subaru experience: "I bought my 1st Subaru in 2000. I soon discovered Carter Subaru at Shoreline, and consistently had professional, thoughtful, kind, and caring experiences since. I have had 9 Subarus starting in 2000 and they have made purchasing and servicing my vehicles very comfortable and easy over the years and have always done their best to accommodate my often times challenging schedule. As a business owner / operator specializing in pet care, I had 5 older Subarus at once and they needed tender loving care to keep them going safely over the years. I have been fortunate to have built a relationship with the most trusted, willing to work with me and all my problems dealership. Here we are 24 years later, and I can say Benny and his team at Carter Subaru have looked after me with the utmost care and treatment as a person, and not just a client. Whether it's staying late to take care of someone's special needs, or handling of an unexpected emergency, I can totally trust them to be genuine and do the right thing. I am grateful for the heartfelt care they show and their willingness to help me with situations whether they are big or small." Maddox - from overlooked to incredibly loved. - Adrienne G
Maddox spent more than a year in a shelter where he did not receive a single applicant. He was transferred to our rescue for another chance at a full life. Finally, he got to live in a loving foster home instead of a kennel! But once again, Maddox just wasn't receiving applications, and we just couldn't understand it. Our friends at Carter Subaru invited us to an event where we were able to show off Maddox to many dog lovers, and he also joined us at the Carter Subaru dealership in Shoreline for a video project. The staff at Carter Subaru showered him with love, and after his video work he was also promoted on their social media. After YEARS being the most inexplicably overlooked dog, Maddox was adopted just one month after he made his debut on Carter Subaru's social media! We are so thankful for the spotlight they shine on dogs like Maddox, helping increase visibility and promote adoptions.

I am writing to thank Carter Subaru on behalf of my mother. My mother was recently diagnosed with Blood cancer and needed to begin her cancer treatment at the Cancer Center at Swedish. She was so surprised to receive a pillow and blanket during her first treatment form Carter Subaru. She said What a soothing gift for a first timer!. It may not seem like much, but it really did provide her much needed comfort. It seemed like something way beyond what a car dealership would do and wanted you to know how much it meant!

On June 25th, Carter Subaru partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) and Providence Swedish Cancer Institute through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. This partnership involved delivering blankets, and messages of hope to cancer patients. It was an amazing delivery day filled with kindness and connection. Through Carter Subarus participation in these programs, it shows they care. Carter Subaru consistently shows up and shows out for their community, and that impact was felt on the delivery day. Providence Swedish Cancer Institute were a joy to work with, and we were so happy they were the recipients of Carter Subarus donation this year. We are so grateful to work and live in a community that takes care of one another. Carter Subaru Supports Washington Kids in Transition - Joshua S
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Lynnwood, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Carter Subaru is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Carter Subaru have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/15/2025, Carter Subaru donated 150 coats & 150 shoes/socks to Washington Kids in Transition. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Carter Subaru saves animals with PAWS! - Andi A
PAWS is an animal welfare organization in Lynnwood, Washington that cares for 8,000 cats, dogs, and wild animals every year and provides humane education to 4,000 young people across the region. In June, Carter Subaru of Shoreline joined PAWS as a sponsor of the annual PAWSwalk event - a 21-day challenge that encourages people to get active and help animals by walking. The event kicks off with a festival in Edmonds, where Carter Subaru of Shoreline hosted a photo booth for people and pets! Thanks to Carter Subaru of Shorelines generous support as a $7,500 event sponsor, PAWS will be able to provide lifesaving care to thousands of animals in need. PAWS is appreciative of Carter Subaru of Shorelines care and compassion for cats, dogs, and wildlife!
Driving Possibility: Making the Outdoors Accessible for All - Marissa B
At Outdoors for All, our mission is to enrich the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. Since our founding in 1979 as a small ski school at The Summit at Snoqualmieweve grown into a leading provider of adaptive recreation. Today, we serve more than 2,500 individuals annually through a wide range of outdoor activities including skiing, snowboarding, cycling, kayaking, rock climbing, day camps, and more. With the support of over 800 dedicated volunteers, we empower participants to experience the joy, freedom, and confidence that come from spending time in nature. We are incredibly grateful for our ongoing partnership with Subaru and the generous support of Carter Subaru. Our custom-wrapped vehicle not only turns headsit allows us to safely navigate all types of terrain and transport our team and gear to programs throughout the region. At Treehouse, we believe young people in foster care are the experts of their own lives. That belief is at the heart of everything we doand it was the inspiration behind this years Champions luncheon theme, Leading the Way. Each year, nearly 9,000 children experience the foster care system in Washington state. These young people have incredible potentialhopes, dreams, and ambitions for the future. But their paths are shaped by unique and often difficult challenges: trauma, loss, and frequent changes in homes and schools. This emotional upheaval creates additional barriers, including social, emotional, and academic struggles layered on top of simply growing up. Treehouse is the only nonprofit in Washington solely focused on the educational needs of youth in foster care. Our youth-led programming model is designed specifically to meet those challenges, giving each young person the tools, stability, and support they need to thrive. Champions is a special gathering of philanthropists, community leaders, and corporate partners who believe in our missionand come together to celebrate it. Carter Subaru Drives Change: Rallying Volunteers for Make-A-Wish with a Powerful Campaign - Jeannette T
When Carter Subaru heard that local wish kids were waiting for their wishes in part because Make-A-Wish didnt have enough volunteers, they immediately sprang into action! Carter Subaru leveraged their relationship with KIRO Newsradio to broker an advertising campaign to broadcast their need for volunteers. Within days, a sponsored article was published on MyNorthwest.com, KIROs website, and promoted on social media. Since the campaign went live, several people have begun the process for becoming a volunteer. Carter Subarus ability to open doors for Make-A-Wish and underwrite this campaign has been an incredible gift and is making a tangible difference for local kids. This isnt the first time that the team at Carter has used their connections to help advance the Make-A-Wish mission. They have also introduced us to The Storm to help grant the wish of a teen who dreamed of meeting Brianna Stewart. And, they invited the organization to speak at several dealership events to talk about their local need for volunteers. Make-A-Wish Alaska and Washington continues to be grateful to Carter Subaru for making a lasting difference for our wish kids because wishes matter.

Carter Subaru, along with our many customers and community partners, has been actively engaged in a multi-year project with the Mountains to Sound Greenway organization, focused on the significant endeavor of tree planting. This enduring partnership holds a special place in the hearts of the Carter Subaru team due to its dedication to maintaining a carbon-neutral stance. For every test drive at our dealership, we commit to planting a tree, and with each car purchase, we extend our eco-friendly mission by planting an additional three trees. This commitment to offsetting our carbon footprint emphasizes our resolve to lessen our environmental impact. It's a cherished effort to partake in this eco-friendly initiative alongside our community partner, Mountains to Sound Greenway. Throughout this ongoing commitment, we're delighted to announce that we've collectively planted over 235,000 trees, making a substantial contribution to reforestation endeavors and the fight against climate change. This annual event has become an eagerly awaited and heartening tradition for our Carter Subaru team, symbolizing our shared dedication to sustainability and community involvement. Providing Local Homeless Kids with Essentials! - Reilly O
Washington Kids in Transition, originally a grassroots initiative, now collaborates with community partners such as Carter Subaru and licensed social workers to assist homeless children in the Edmonds and Everett School Districts. These children are currently living in temporary housing like shelters, tents, cars or transitional housing. Unfortunately, these kids often go without meals, clothing and a safe place to sleep. Washington Kids in Transition offers these families in need motel vouchers, rental and utility aid, rental deposits, and emergency supplies. Due to the generous community support, they have never had to decline a request! We were thrilled to donate three sizable containers filled with essential items to support Washington Kids in Transition during their seasonal Toiletry Drive!
